The purpose of the Nominating Committee shall be track and keep the Board informed of current term limits, and to receive, review and approve nominations of candidates for Directors and Officers. Additional nominations may be made by Directors at the Corporation's annual meeting.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is responsible for budgeting and financial planning, financial reporting, and the creation and monitoring of internal controls and accountability policies.  It will present the budget for current fiscal year for approval at the January meeting of the full Board.

Membership Committee

The purpose of the Membership Committee is to collaborate with the Board and membership on key strategies, challenges, and needs to provide insight on membership recruitment, engagement and retention.  They will provide input and suggestions on how HBCH can increase and sustain membership.  They will support all efforts to recruit new members, including but not limited to attending recruiting sessions (individual or group), working with the Board to identify  prospects, responding to inquiries from potential members, and ensuring that new members feel welcome and become active participants of HBCH.

Population Health Committee

The purpose of the Population Health Committee is to recommend, monitor, and support strategic data driven programs intended to improve health outcomes of the employer’s entire population in a cost-effective manner. Recommendations may be for any segment of the health continuum- well, at risk, acute illness, chronic illness and catastrophic illness.  The Committee will focus on opportunities for collective action by employer members and for synergies between programs.

Programming & Resources Committee

The purpose of the Programming & Resources Committee is to recommend short and long-term programs and resources to present to the membership that have the potential to impact the cost and quality of employer-sponsored healthcare delivery consistent with HBCH’s operational pillars and existing strategic initiatives.  The Committee is responsible for developing the theme and overall content of the annual conference, and for making recommendations of plenary session speakers.  Recommendations for the upcoming fiscal year will provided to the full Board at its last meeting of the prior year.

Strategic Planning Committee 

The purpose of the Strategic Planning Committee is to provide a long-term perspective when considering opportunities for The Coalition.  The Committee does so by 1) providing a consistent process for assessing potential opportunities for the Board to consider over time and 2) provide input to The Board on the value of opportunities relative to The Coalitions’ Strategic Pillars."

Well-being Committee

The purpose of the Wellbeing Committee is to be the collective influence for employer centric wellbeing and to promote excellence in wellbeing practices. Focused on the four pillars of wellbeing; physical & nutritional, financial, social, and mental & emotional health, the committee will collaborate with employers to identify and implement cost efficient best practices and resources for short and long-term outcomes. They will work with the HBCH membership to recognize high performing wellbeing programs and benefits/wellness individual contributors. The committee will assist the Population Health committee and general initiatives as necessary.
