Amy Hartman leads human capital management at Credit Human, serving over 900 Credit Human team members in 15+ states.  Credit Human, a federally chartered member-owned financial cooperative headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, stewards over $4b in member assets and progresses a vision of communities free from financial stress and a Mission to help people build and maintain financial slack.

Throughout her career at Credit Human, she has partnered with Managers at all levels to implement culture-shaping learning initiatives, frame Credit Human’s employment value proposition and integrate Credit Human’s core values into the work of each member of the Credit Human team.

Prior to joining Credit Human, Ms. Hartman led nonprofit, community-based organizations focused on community and neighborhood development, affordable housing, and accessible healthcare for unhoused people and people living with HIV-AIDS.  Ms. Hartman served on the San Antonio Planning Commission from 2003-2012 and has served on the boards of Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio and her local neighborhood association.  Ms. Hartman is actively involved in kinship foster care.

Ms. Hartman earned her B.A at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and her Master of Public Administration at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
