Speaker Bio

Dr. Cone is a seasoned physician executive with over 30 years of experience in medical group management. As a private practice OB-Gyn, Dr. Cone has delivered over 10,000 babies in his career. He currently serves as the President of Privia Medical Group Gulf Coast, a 475 provider multi-specialty group, built for the purpose of providing independent doctors a vehicle to participate and succeed in value-based care. He serves as Market President for Privia Health (PRVA-Nasdaq), providing management and population health services to 140 medical groups throughout the southern half of Texas. Dr. Cone is a founder, board member and current VP of US Women’s Health Alliance, a collaboration of over 5,000 women’s health providers focused on improving the quality and affordability of women’s healthcare. He is the Chairman of the Board of Global Women’s Health Providers (GWHP), a statewide physician network developed to deliver full risk maternity and gynecological surgery bundles for payers or employers. He serves on the Board of Directors for BioTe (BTMD-Nasdaq), a physician enablement and wellness company. He is Chairman of the Advisory Board of Fannin Surgicare, an outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center. Dr. Cone is married with three children and lives in Houston. He enjoys supporting Texas A&M Athletics, fishing, and spending time with his family. He attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate degree, then Baylor College of Medicine for his Medical Degree and Residency Training.
