Tony Lin

Tony Lin, M.D., joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in 1993 and currently serves as Special Advisor to the Chairman. He previously served as Chairman of the Board and CEO from 2016 to March 2025, leading the organization through a period of significant growth and innovation. During his tenure, Dr. Lin led a seasoned executive management team dedicated to advancing Kelsey-Seybold’s mission of “changing the way health cares” by improving quality, lowering total cost of care, and enhancing the patient experience.

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is a 1,000-provider-strong health system supported by more than 5,000 employees across 43 locations serving the Greater Houston metro area. In addition to offering its own Medicare Advantage plan, Kelsey-Seybold partners with leading health plans to offer KelseyCare — a high-performance, capitated, commercial, accountable care health plan.

Under Dr. Lin’s leadership, Kelsey-Seybold expanded its value-based care model by partnering with TPG and subsequently joining Optum Health in 2022, strengthening its ability to deliver accountable care to a growing patient population. He also oversaw major expansions to the Clinic’s physical footprint, including the addition of new clinic locations, cancer centers, ambulatory surgery centers, and advanced imaging centers to enhance access to care.

Dr. Lin earned his medical degree and completed his residency training at Baylor College of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Lin continues to care for patients at the Berthelsen Main Campus near the Texas Medical Center.

In addition to his advisory role, Dr. Lin serves on several boards, including the Greater Houston Partnership, and the Kelsey Research Foundation Board. A native Houstonian and avid sports fan, he enjoys volunteering alongside his friends and family for various causes.
