Jeanne Toth
Vice President of Human Resources and Marketing
Chesmar Homes
Jeanne was born and raised in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. After a brief teaching career she entered the corporate world and joined PPG Industries as a Quality Improvement Engineer. At PPG she developed and implemented quality systems, process improvement, and adult education programs.
In 1999 she relocated with her family to The Woodlands, Texas and found her true vocation, Real Estate. For the past 24 years she has worked in the homebuilder and development segments of the industry in various roles managing sales teams and marketing strategy.
In January 2010 Jeanne joined The Woodlands Development Company a Division of the Howard Hughes Corporation as the Director of Residential Sales and Development. During her 7 years with the organization, she had the opportunity to work with both the residential and commercial real estate community in the Houston market and helped many new residents and companies choose to make The Woodlands their home.
In November 2016, she finally found her new home with Chesmar Homes as their Corporate Director of Human Resources and Marketing. In learning the various components of the HR role, she found her passion for the people side of the business. Jeanne is more than delighted to “geek” out on employee happiness and benefits conversations with anyone willing to participate.
In her spare time, you may find Jeanne hanging out with her family, walking along the pathways with her German Shepherd Phoebe, and volunteering with community organizations. Jeanne is going on her 11th year as co-Founder and former chair of United Way’s “Women Who Rock” luncheon, dedicated to providing daycare scholarships to help young mothers break the cycle of poverty and achieve their dream of higher education. She is also involved on the planning and fundraising committee for Montgomery County CASA for Kids which promotes volunteer advocacy programs to recruit, train and supervise Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers to advocate for children involved in the child welfare system and improve their well-being.
